If you go down to the woods today . . .

you're in for a nice surprise . . .!"

Down the Woods is a community garden project near Hitchin, and they are offering free visits to children with special needs, and their parents/carers to encourage playing outside in the popular 'mud digging' area, in the water wall and with building blocks, as well as having access to numerous other natural activities.

Crafts and story times are also available.  If you're lucky ther emight be fruit and vegetable on hand to take away and a good bag with lots of ideas for outdoor playing.

And dont let some of these rainy days put you off - there's a lovely new summerhouse to keep you dry
