Touching Lives event for deafblind people (all ages)
Our Touching Lives event, taking place on 30 June, aims to celebrate the lives of Deafblind people in Hertfordshire. Come along and:

Reviewing sensory provision in Hertfordshire (all ages)
There is constantly work going on at Hertfordshire County Council, not just to deliver our services but to continuously improve on what we can offer. With this in mind, we reviewed whether the services for D/deaf, vision impaired and multi-sensory impaired children and young people in Hertfordshire, are giving you everything you need.

Making GPs more autism friendly survey (ages 18+)

Healthwatch Hertfordshire want to hear from autistic people about their experiences visiting their GP. By sharing your experiences, you will be helping to inform and support local GP practices to become more autism friendly and improve the experience for autistic people.
Complete the Healthwatch Hertfordshire survey The survey closes on 17 July and is open to ages 18+ years.
Mission EmployAble training cafe open for business! (ages 18+)
Mission EmployAble run year-long supported internships for adults with an EHCP aged 19 - 25, living in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex and beyond.
They are pleased to announce that their training cafe in Chorleywood is now up and running, and is proving to be a big success both with the interns, and customers! In the latest guest blog, Mission EmployAble tells us all about the new cafe and how it is providing training opportunities for interns with learning disabilities.
