Electric Motorbike Youth Work project (ages 12-16 in Three Rivers area)

The Services for Young People (SfYP) Electric Motorbike Youth Work Project at West Hyde Young People's Centre is an exciting new opportunity for young people in the Three Rivers area. The project will be led by a team of experienced SfYP Youth Workers supported by volunteers with specialist skills. They will work with a range of young people, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, delivering a curriculum of learning over 10 weekly sessions per term.
The young people will learn to ride and maintain electric motorbikes, learning basic mechanics and safety procedures, as well as many transferrable skills that will support them in their future education and career paths. The project’s holistic approach to young people’s development and wellbeing will also promote physical activity, outdoor exploration, and environmental awareness.
